OK now I am nervous about running my XX with the 4.1000 amp. I don't want to hook everything up and have the speakers take a "poop" a week later and have to tear it back down to install new speakers. SO....I might have to order some BT7.1's. Darn it the $ is adding up LOL!!! Thanks again.

 

If you keep the output voltage under 20 VAC which is 200 watts @ 2 ohms that is if those speakers will take 200 watts. Then you are not using the amp to full potential

 

OK just finishing up my install. I have a 310 HU, 4.1000 amp, BT7.1 speakers up front and Kicker 6X9 in the rears. I know it has been posted before but for the life of me I can't find it but I need some starter settings for the HU and the amp. Thanks for the help I can not wait to hear it!!

 

Amp:
Gain - between 12 and 1 o'clock for each channel
HPF - on the 7.1 speakers to the lowest setting of 40hz, leave the 6X9 on full pass

Radio:
HPF - 80 slope 1
DM+ - On
Loudness - Off
EQ - Flat

Start with that and see how it sounds. If you want a little more bass in the fairing leave it on full pass, but you may lose a little volume.

 

Thank you I did find some settings while searching everything is hooked up and sounds good. I have the front and rears all on flat and EQ on xplode. The fronts seemed a little muddy so I will try to turn HPF on the 7.1's maybe I can push them a little harder. The 6X9's seem to over power the 7.1's.
