Default 2015 Road Glide Amp install question, where to mount amp?

So I have the fairing off and I'm trying to figure out if:

A. the stock Road Glide Special has an amp to begin with.

B. Do I need to take the radio out to mount my Cerwin Vega B2? I can only find one post that has no pics but does mention mounting the Boom Amp under the 6.5 radio.

I could mount the amp behind the volt or fuel gauge but that might require some relocation of connectors and one side of the amp would be inaccessible once installed.

Really could use some pics or a video if anyone knows anything.

Thanks in advance.

*** UPDATE ***

pics of how I ended up mounting it in post #24

I used the biketronics amp mount and didn't have to remove the radio or relocate anything

If you don't want to buy an amp mount you can reroute some wires and put it in top of the headlight.

ok, mocked up my initial placement and wanted some feedback.

I have a couple piece of aluminum I'm using as rails and will secure them when/if this looks good. I tested for clearance with both the radio and the headlight and all was good.

The power side will be towards the radio this way I can adjust gains maybe without removing the headlight.

Here are a couple of pics, just taped in place for now to check clearance.

thoughts?

Never been inside a RG fairing, but it looks good as long a the wires all fit.
Did you have to turn the left aluminum rail on end?

No I just didn't turn it it was just a quick mockup and nothing permanent. I could turn it sideways and have access to the gain side with the speaker pod removed.

I mounted my micro2, pretty sure it's the same amp case, on the throttle side of the deck & a micro4 on the clutch side!

I mounted my CV B2 under the radio just like your mock up. Gain and frequency adjustments pointed towards the rider (but yes the fairing and radio will always have to come out in order to make adjustments. I made a cradle out of two layers of Gorilla tape Yes I am a redneck. This was only supposed to be a temporary solution, but it worked so well I figured what the heck. Frankly, after you get everything buttoned back up the AMP really doesn't have anywhere to go. Should my redneck solution ever fail I figure I'll hear the AMP rattling around in the fairing and I'll have to do it the "right" way.

I happen to have my fairing off right now, so I'll snap some photos tonight.
