2015 Road Glide Amp install question, where to mount amp?

well bleh, couldn't get the DMM way to work (lots of issues, new thread going up with a little faux pas I found with the B2) as I couldn't get a reading coming out of the amp (I unplugged the harness and tried to connect directly to the socket. I spent a lot of time troubleshooting the faux pas so I didn't split the harness and try that.
I'm thinking of upgrading my speakers now so will address the "proper" gain settings if/when I upgrade. For now, I have it set about 40%.

I'm just using an inexpensive Metra Line Out Converter from Best Buy. About $15.
No my radio isn't flashed. I won't ever let the dealer techs around here mess with that.
I'm working with what I have and what I know. I'd also mention that all of my ear tests were confirmed / validated with a TPI 440 plus meter.

I mounted my CV B2 under the radio just like your mock up. Gain and frequency adjustments pointed towards the rider (but yes the fairing and radio will always have to come out in order to make adjustments. I made a cradle out of two layers of Gorilla tape Yes I am a redneck. This was only supposed to be a temporary solution, but it worked so well I figured what the heck. Frankly, after you get everything buttoned back up the AMP really doesn't have anywhere to go. Should my redneck solution ever fail I figure I'll hear the AMP rattling around in the fairing and I'll have to do it the "right" way.
I happen to have my fairing off right now, so I'll snap some photos tonight.

You didn't have to remove your radio? I did,, seemed like I had to,, but I guess maybe it would have went without removing it. (Wasn't that hard) Hell, I took the headlight out and let it hang by one side of the connector to reach in and do the amp....
