Looking at making some bike and car audio upgrades this winter and was thinking about trying the T series 4 channel in my car, BUT.... if I can do as good driving my BT 7.1s and 6.5s and have FM again maybe throw the RF in bike and PA in car?? Never ending addiction

You may not get FM reception back with the T400X4AD.

I haven't A/B'd them, but have had both at some point and going off memory of how each sounded. The T400 has better SQ for sure and more tuning options, but not really any louder than the 1000D. I think it's a better quality amp, the gain feature is also cool, but the price point for each is WAY different. Not so sure that 7.1's and Titan II's would sound THAT much better where one amp is 150.00 and the other is 499.00.

So better - yes. 350.00 better...probably not.

 

Great input thank you for well written and thought out reply. And I agree.. NO way I'd spend that on one, but think I have a lead on one from a friend that will be much less $.
