Default Dealer flash to add power amp

What are the settings I need my 2014 FLHTK flashed to when using a Rockford Fosgate PB300? I want to delete the MagicBox as it continues to come loose.

Replace the magic box with the BT Line Leveler and secure it. Using the LL there is no need for a flash that may work or most likely won't work. It is recommended that the bike have a stock flash when using the LL.

I assume that works better then the Magic box does? Also will one unit connect two front speakers or do I need two of these?

Yes it works better than the Magic Box. All you need is 1 LL per pair of speakers. If you were to run 2 pairs of speakers you could still get by with just 1 LL but would lose the ability to fade.

2010 Limited with some stuff

I would also recommend the BT line leveler vs. the flash. I tried the flash route and it sounded like crap. I just installed the BT line leveler and it made a big difference.

surfnorthwest,

I think the Harley radio flash that works the best with the BikeTronics line levelers or J&M Green band RCA input adapters is here http://www.jmcorp.com/pdf/HarleyRadi...09-10-2015.pdf

This Harley radio flash will activate the rear channel outputs, turn on the front/rear fader control, allow AVC operation and full bass/treble control.

Hope this helps you.

I'll second that Bertk no flash needed
The op has a flhtk so he has the fader already and I just did my flhtk with just Line levelers and you DO NOT want the AVC controls on or activated

DON'T MEAN TO HI-JACK THREAD

So can you explain this little issue I had the other day with my 14 limited.I had my AVC on third bar wear I always ran it with stock system and volume set to about 10 bars. Everything was all great in town below 40mph and got on the express way ran up to about 70 mph and within 2 min. At that speed all 4 of my tweeters quit working.I did not change any settings while moving.I ran my system for 2 hrs at mid volume and it didn't miss a lick and sounded great. To me the only thing that changed in the equation was the AVC was more active at the higher speed.
