Default Help w/Biketronics bt355 install

I am attempting to install the bt355 line leveler on my 15 RGS which already has the Rockford Fosgate PBR300x2 amplifier. I bought the one that has the stock speaker connectors on it. The directions say to plug in RCA wires to the amp but I don't have RCA connections. I feel like I should have bought the one with the universal connectors but I told the guy from BT what I had and this is the one he sent me. I am assuming that the speaker connections on the 355 are the output and the RCA plugs are the input? If so then I am sure I got the wrong one.

The RCA's on the line leveler are output, that connects to the amp. You need to buy a set of RCA cables. The stock speaker connections are the inputs. You have to run your own wire from the amp to the speakers

Did you cut the RCA connector on your amp, and connect the speaker wires to it?

Radio Speaker wires to speaker wire of the BT355, out of the other end RCA cables from the BT355 to the Amp. If you cut the harness, this is where it would go.

This is what you will need. The two RCA wires on the left of the pic (not included) will go from the LL to the amp wiring harness to the amp input.
If you cut the harness to wire it direct, you will need another harness.

Thank you so much for the detailed post. I did cut the RCA's off so I will order another harness. I wish this would have been explained to me when I ordered it and even if I didn't cut off the RCA's I would need to go buy the other ones to install it. At least now I know what to do. Thanks again.

You're welcome.
Here's the harness you need.
You can get the RCA cables at Walmart or any electronics store.
I got these from
Amazon Amazon
because there only about a foot and a half long and wanted to save room.

It's difficult for the guys at BT to know every amp I imagine, I'm sure he tried to steer you right, I called after I decided to get my LL and saw they had three different ones on the sight, I had no clue what i needed, I'll see this afternoon if I'm golden. But since I'm running the BT amp, I'm sure he knew what I needed. Good luck getting it set up!

Connecting to the Amp all three are the same RCA connection. It's the other end going to the speakers that's different.
