Well not exactly. Went to install it today, both the cable and the BT355 have male ends. Had to get a couple of connectors. Wired it up, turned on the stereo, line leveler started smoking. Hmmm.

Do you have a pic of how they are installed?

Here's a pic. Wired inline between radio speaker outputs and amp.

Pic, not great, sorry. Had no output left side, called it suicide, took it off, spent about 30 minutes adjusting the hi pass filter and boost on the amp, got it to sound decent, cranked the bass way down. May call them today, just to see if I could have messed it up. Was a pretty simple inline installation though. Got me curious.

No, I had to take the LL off. Tuned the amp till it was acceptable. I'm pretty sure one side of the LL is bad. Funny thing, in the few seconds before it started smoking, it sounded really good! Trying to decide whether to try another one. Will just live with the flat bass for now.

The BT LL has a lifetime warranty. Give Bill at Biketronics a call and explain what happened. They have excellent customer service and support.

Looking at the pic again, where are the wires on the BT LL connected to?
