Getting ready to install my new system, this is what I have:
- Kenwood KDC X799 HU
- SS PN4.1000D Amp
- Infinity 62.11i
- Infinity 693.11i
My ques is will 8 gauge power wire work? I think the amp recommends 4 gauge. And do I need to use an inline fuse if so what size?

 

8awg and 40 will work perfect. What you are reading is for a car.

Also that's gonna sound great once installed.
