Bates, that would be a great upgrade IMO. I started with original Hog Tunes amp (32 rms), a little better than stock, then Arc (75 rms @ 4 0hms), decent amp better than HT, Then Sound Stream 4.520D, better than Arc, more power...Than BT4180... WOW... great sounding amp with a lot more detail. You will love the 4180, only wish I could set the gains...then My Alpine 9886 started shorting out and I added the Kenwood 998... That was another upgrade in sound I really did not expect! Anyway you will love the 4180! Running 8 speakers with the 4180 and I can hear music detail like never before at 70 mph, 3 sets of HAT's and 1 set of Focal KPS's. MY next upgrade might be another set of HAT component speakers in my fairing, (replacing the Focal KPS's) perhaps the 6.5 Clarus component set. I never had the SS PN$ but a lot of guys (Gan & Haze) love that amp also.

You should really try the PN4.1000D with that set up. Just recently I tested a set of Arc Moto's, Hertz HCX 165, and Kappas in a set of lowers with the PN4.1000D. I was blown away how good the kappas sounded with that amp. Last time I had heard them was with an RZ4.2000D. They kept up with the other much more expensive speakers. I'll add that Gannicus told me so, and I didn't believe him!
Yessir it is crazy and by this time next year there will be another NEWER, BETTER, BIGGER. Last year I talked a CVO buddy into a full BT system (4180, 7.1, Titan II, 6x9, & Sony HU) and installed it for him. Pulled it all out and reinstalled his stock setup when he traded it in. He told me it was mine when I got ready for it so my upgrade is basically just waiting on me. Wanna add another set of Titan II's to the mix as well as a pn4.1000. That should hold me for a while. Just not sure if I can make myself drill holes in the bags for the 6x9's.

As I try and get my arms around the fairing speaker set up, I see a few of the brains of this operation using the ARC 602s versus the BT 7.1. Does the ARC deliver something that BT does not for your ears? Been getting some awesome PM advice on this thankfully endless Audio upgrade but I do like the music to hit pretty hard and deliver some bass from the front end. Will eventually work on that goal with the saddles but at 80 mph I will lose that element anyways.
Don't get me wrong, I dig loud but loud without the right hit can also be exhausting.

Initial thoughts about front end:
BT 4180 w BT 7.1
BT 4180 w Arc 602 V2
???? amp w ???? Upper fairing.

Limiting factor the 2014 HD Infotainment HU.

Thanks!!!!

Going to be very happy with either speaker. The 7.1's are more efficient but the Moto's deliver more bass and need more power to make them loud. Both speakers are awesome in the fairing with the BT4180 or the sound stream PN4.1000D.
With BT's new line leveler the HU is no longer a showstopper from what I'm hearing.

Lol... The key to drilling the holes is the first four that hold the speaker in place. Make sure those holes are lined up perfectly and the rest is a piece of cake!

Toss a TN4.900 in the bags with this and your bike will go boom!

Oh yeah I get that. I'm not worried about screwing it up. Biggest decision is whether or not I wanna go that route or not. I really want lids and bags but that along with 2 tone Merlot paint isn't cheap. I can tell you this though, when I do decide to change it up, it's gonna be nasty!!!!
