Haze,
A lot of these attacks/comments have been pretty damn funny and fun to pour gas on. The last was was very good though!!! At the end of the day it's great to see the Audio passion but maybe just a touch over the top. But as I have said time and again, this is a damn chat room, and expected.
I will try and get some noise on a video and then try and figure how to post.
Ur set up sounds really damn good!!!!!
The BT stuff is without question damn good stuff. The limiting factors when I went down this road initially really had to do with removing an HD structural component from the fairing in order to install the BT7.1s. My HD Tech pals advised that I get a little further down the road away from HD warranty expiration before jacking with structural things too much. Also to make sure that the BT metal replacement bracket was functioning as intended, and it has been thus far. The next one was that the 2014 stuff was really sparse on the BT web site thus did not want to play the role as the path finder for these 2014+ products. Don't think the BT4180/14 is even on the BT web site but I later discovered that it is available for the 2014. The shortest pole in the tent was timeline. Was running low on time coming up on a road trip thru AR followed by the Lone Star and needed a box on the porch, with simple install, at the right price as the HD crap was well past it's shelf life, by about a year. J&M was the choice and it does very very good compared to my starting point. The box was on the porch the next day by 10am, installed by 3, flashed by 5. I really did have great support from J&M and am currently in a good place.
I will eventually build upon / replace my current system as things mature and strongly consider BT as a core choice for the amp and fairings. Will stay with the Focal as I am not sure if I want to trade the clarity for the boom as I'm thinking it will compliment some good boom coming from up front.
So eventually
BT 4180/14
BT 7.1 Upper Fairing
Focal AC690
(Don't think the new and improved BT7.1s are a good place to go for me as at some point I am limited by the head itself and don't see the 14 infotainment head exceeding the standard BT7.1.
Most important, I cannot thank all of you Veterans for the amazing sacrifices that you have made for this great nation!!!!!!!!!! Hope you Vets and your Familes are having an awesome Veterans Day!!!!!!!! Thank you again for your service!!!!

Tail...it's cool you like set-up. And it sounds like they took care of you. You shouldn't bash on guys that have spent countless hours and dollars doing the research and passing on the info to others....to save them the headache. There is alot of appreciation given to the gentlemen that have done this on this site. For your one good experience, there are several others to shoot it down...
