Willing to pay the extra 30-40 bucks to get it overnighted but nobody seems to want to get it to me. After you guys suggested the power acoustics rz4 2000 D I read some other posts about it and I'm definitely sold on it for only a hundred bucks. Just need to find someone that actually wants to sell it to me haha. Guess that's my job for the day before I have to do Halloween stuff with the kids. also have to find that speaker ring adapter locally or somewhere they will overnight it because eBay is also saying I can't get it as quick as I want.
I used to run the 2000D myself and liked it a lot. I'd still have it if I hadn't killed it by running 2 ohm speakers in parallel. As it is, I went with the 3000D for a replacement, and added 4 ohm speakers. I can still help up until Thursday, headed for the rally Friday.

Man this forum is great....and Salty good attitude brother listening to the suggestions. You're gonna end up with a system that will enjoy 100 times over what you had planned.

Amp - If Johns gonna give you a hand get the PN4.1000D from amazon on 2 day shipping for 150.00. I recommended the RZ42000D because it's 100 bucks and a tad smaller so it's an easy fit.....and the Kappas sound great with that amp. The PN4.1000D is a better amp, it's also 50 bucks more but it can be a bitch to fit in the fairing.....but it fits. If you are considering paying next day shipping for the RZ4, then just get the bigger better amp. Johns crammed one into his fairing so he can give you some tips.

Just a thought if you can't land an RZ4-2000D by Mon-Tuesday time frame.

It's the same install, I removed the 2000D and put the 3000D in its place. It's virtually the same amp as the Soundstream haze is suggesting. They are big but will fit. It's a hell of an amp, more powerful than you need but more is better, right?

Just plain john I will have my fairing pulled and speakers out tomorrow. I'll shoot you a text when I have all in hand on mon-tues and see if your still free. I'm heading to Lonestar Thurs-sat so same deal as you.

Also.... which?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00VH40878/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1446301951&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=pn4+1000d&dpPl=1&dpID=418 DwW02ilL&ref=plSrch

OR

Both were suggested earlier in post... if I wanted to spend the extra 50 bucks. I have an Amazon Prime account and completely forgot I would get free two-day shipping. Both of these are Amazon which of the two would you pick with the Kappas? Didn't know if one was easier to fit in the fairing than the other or maybe better? or is it really just brand name and they're pretty much the same. And I have noticed all have suggested 4 channel so I could possibly ad speakers later. What if I did 2 channel amp is there a 2 channel that's equal to rz4-2000d for the $100 ish? Like rz2-2000d or something... or not? Or should I just do 4 channel rz4-3000d or pn4-1000d?

Also is this the correct ring adapter? the reviews on Amazon were horrible saying that they don't fit most speakers. Is that the case with most rings? I found everything now on Amazon Prime but not sure if you have the correct rings. It would be ideal to get everything on Amazon but if I have to get the ring somewhere else tell me where

Correct wiring?

Correct speakers?

Correct polyfill?

From the amps, I'd get the PN4.1000D only because I saw the RZ4-3000D was discontinued, but they are the exact same amp. For a 2 channel amp the Cerwin B2 is your best find, but I've seen them going for about 120ish. For 30 bucks more you're better off with the 1000D. On a tighter budget and from amazon get this 2 channel one:

Amazon.com: Precision Power i350.2 PPI iON Series 350 Watts Class D 2-Channel Amplifier: Car Electronics Amazon.com: Precision Power i350.2 PPI iON Series 350 Watts Class D 2-Channel Amplifier: Car Electronics

From your lists:

Amp wiring kit - get 8awg
Speakers are correct
Rings get the Metra brand
Polyfill, you want it to be a roll. You will end up with 2 "sheets" behind your speakers so you need a roll of it.

either or on the amp, the Soundstream is a good choice. For the rest follow haze's advice. Sorry I haven't replied sooner, terrible weather today and we lost power and my phone needed charging.

haze324 I ordered everything on Amazon yesterday and got some great deals plus all guaranteed to be here on Tuesday.

Infinity Kappas $119
Wiring Kit $11.47 (I got 8awg like you said)
PolyFill $5 (went to walmart and found the small roll off high loft)
Adapter Ring $15 (only thing I didnt follow your advise because Metra was 4-5 day shippping on ebay and amazon so went with the one I posted earlier in a link.. hope it works but I took a gamble)
Amp Rz4-2000d $74.98!!!! (popped up last minute on Amazon saying "one left in stock" and I got the amp I was hoping to find and would pair well with speakers for cheap)

So $226 Total and free 2 day shipping. Now I just need to run to home depot and buy some decent velcro. Thanks for everyones help... seriously.

just plain john yeah we had bad flooding around here. ill shoot you a text with everything. I actually moved 10 min down the road. Im walking distance from Baybrook mall now. Bay Area and I-45.

Just to be safe grab some extra 8awg wire so you can run your ground to your battery also. The kit comes with a short wire. And grab some extra screws...the adapters don't always bring the amount you need. Oh and zip ties.

Amazon.com : Soundstream ultra compact, super slim, extra very shallow motorcycle /car/truck 1000 watts 4 channel class D power amplifier ST4.1000D DIMENSIONS- 3''W X 6''L X 1 1/2''H : Car Electronics
That amp will send the stock speakers flying, unless you crank down the gain. It really isn't going to do anything more, without blowing the speakers, than can be done with the OEM head unit. IMHO, a waste of time and money, without upgrading the speakers.
