Default What gauge speaker wires should be used when adding an amp?

Will the "stock" wiring on a 14 limited be capable of added power with an amp and aftermarket speakers or should new wire be ran from amp to speakers? If so what gauge
Thanks in advance trying to get everything together for the winter UPGRADE

I used the stock wires on my 14 sg you can even buy the connectors from vtwin audio if you don't want to cut anything

the stock wire should be just fine, but if you want to go all out i'd suggest 16g, maybe 14g if you are feeling frisky.

the thicker the better IN GENERAL...
will you hear the difference on the bike? NO.
one of the aspects is f.e. the length of the cable... the longer the "run" is the "more" you need a bit thicker wire.
of with anything you got laying around from 14-18 AWG
