Default PBR 300x2 and Kappas not impressed Advice?

Got a new 16 Road glide, and put in a RF 300x2 and Inifity Kappas, with the magic box. Already have the gain up to 7.5 and HP filter turned on (cant remember setting) not really noticing much over stock to me. Don't want to turn amp up more as the sounds were getting to high and distorting. And don't want to mess up the new Kappa's. Used the same procedures to set gains and HP filters as recommended by Ultra Nutz when I did my prior system a few years back.

Any other advice on a amp that may would work better with the Kappa's and majic box? No flashing has been done only running fairing speakers

On the old bike had the PRB 300 and MM651's and loved it (that system sold with the old bike), just can't say that about this set up.

Die you mount the amp under the radio? If so, did you use one of the amp brackets sold on ebay?

Yes I am not thinking it is the Kappas, I believe it has more to do with the PRB 300 and Magic box combination. So was seeking if others may have had alternatives for amps and magic box combination.

I just removed the radio (only 4 screws and lifts straight up and out) and headlight. The amp slid nicely under the current radio bracket stuck amp to it with heavy duty Velcro and a couple of zip ties for extra security. The radio sat right down over the zip times and mounted right back up, no alignment problems.

Thanks Haze I will look into them, but I am more of a radio listener than a Ipod person one of the reasons I went with the Rockford over Soundstream classs D in my last bike.

Definitely something off with this combination of the PBR and the MagicBox. With your gains that high those Kappas should be screamin.

2010 Limited with some stuff

I had the Kickers with the PBR, no magic box, no flash. Gain around 5. Pretty nice sound. Might try removing the magic box first, see if that helps, then maybe get a flash....just thoughts.

It sounded good when I had that minus the magic doodad you new bike owners have to use.. However the cerwin b2 is literally 10 times better
