Everything showed up today! I can tell you this, the BT kit is far superior to the metra kit in the build dept, hopefully everything operates as it should! Very solid & well built, not cheap plastic! I didn't have time to get started on the full install today, but I did mess around with the mid drivers, I can't get them to fit into the pods with the fairing intact/ pods mounted so hopefully those will fit in the pods with the BT shims! I might get started tomorrow, we'll see how work goes!

I got my kit installed. The worst part was putting the plastic bezel on the radio after it was in the brackets. I'm thinking Sony is a hair wider maybe? I dumped the pods in favor of their bracketry. Great design. Needed a little tweaking here and there to allow my fairing to align up but all done!! Love it!

Crappy update! Got working on the bike this evening got the horns installed, wow never had the bike torn down that far, went well! The American bass speakers appear to be to deep, I don't mind cutting the pods but I'm not sure the fairing will fit correctly, these things look awesome & it kills me to think I'm not going to get to use them! Here's were the $hit hit the fan, moved on to installing the deck the BT kit fits great then I went to plug in the module, no good, BT has sent me the wrong module it's for the earlier bike, CRAP! I called, left a message & I feel confident that Bill will be all over it, but DAMN why is it so hard for me to get a good deck in this bike!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that, but I'm sure Bill will hook you up. If it makes you feel better, it will sound great afterwards. I'm still adjusting things to get the best sound, but the pain is worth it!

Sorry for the delay in update, Bill did get back with me on this evening & got the right part coming my way, he tried to get the module to me on Sat., but didn't show up till Mon. & I was headed elk hunting so I didn't get a chance to install tell last night! the AB 6.5's were to big to fit so I ordered Beyma pro 6.5's & they do fit & seem to be loud, I'm still disappointed the AB's don't fit as I feel they're a better speaker then the Beyma maybe someone will build pods that'll fit a larger speaker some day! I went ahead & wired the horns off my deck for now, so I ended up turning the gain on my micro2 down to about 1/4, I still can't get to 3/4 volume on my deck in the garage it's just super load! I was in a hurry last night so I'm sure I can get it to sound even better the more I play with it, but for now this is a bit better then what I've had! I'll keep updating when I can, but it's snowing & I'm heading for Glamis on Fri.!!

Beymas are way better speakers than AB's brother. Those things must be loud as hell with the Micro2. I've been eyeing a set of Beymas as well.

Post some pics!
