I'll be installing some 62.11i kappas in my fairing upper and lower and I was sold on the b54 but as of recently I've been told about the jx series amp from jl audio so I'm asking you guys which one would push these kappas the best Thanks for your help

 

On paper the B54 looks to be the way to go. But JL has always underrated their specs on paper. So you really never know until you actually install the amp. IMO the B54 is the best bang for the buck rated 150 x 4 @ 2 ohms. Might have a problem mounting the JX in the fairing @ 7.68 deep. Normally you can only go 5.5 deep and still have the ability to button up the fairing. I do know those Kappa's scream with the B54. I've not heard the JX.

 

My thoughts exactly!!!! I figured there both in the same price range so why not see if the jl amp would actually sound "cleaner" than the B54 but at the same time I'm not willing to disrupt a proven package. I'm just curious and honestly if the amp would fit I "might" give it a whirl
