X998 got Drive Q (slightly adjusts audio with regards to drive sound (in the car).
Not aware of AVC on ANY aftermarket HU.
Biketronics 100x is the only one supporting AVC.
I do not like it, but that's personal.
I prefer the "Mute/ATTN" option the ASWC-1 / Metra combo provides (plus you save some money).

yep - there is PLENTY of info out here. most of the questions from "newbee's" have been answered in the past somewhere on the forum.
the "bad" thing is the search engine on the forum does not work that great. I use Google like "HDForums batwing amp bracket" or alike. Always include hdforums in the search criteria.
