Hey FB, running the cde-alpine for over 2years and no issues at all. Like all the BT features, Pandora, CD, and thumb drive music that last forever. I used the BT phone features a handful of times so it displays who called and for response for the firehall. Good call on BT amp. Both are solid. Good luck. D

With the 4180 either get the alpine 149 or kenwood 998. Both have separate crossover and separate gains for front and rear channels.

Im a fan of the Sony. It has a lot of power and features. You can download an app called App Remote. With that you can use your cell phone to play your media and adjust your settings. Its very user friendly. I stream music from the phone onto the HeadUnit and the sound is awesome. I have the version before the MEX 70. It was so good on my Streetglide, that I installed another unit in my truck.

Hope this helps.

+1 for the Sony. On top of everything already said, the display and ease of use are great. That app is great too.
