Default Best combo?

Ok i have one set of kappas and set of the value line bt 7.1s (70 rms 150 peak) and i also have a pbr 300x2 and a ss pn4.520. The bike is a 02 electta glide with a kenwood hu and bt retro radio kit. Out of the above mentioned components what would be the best combo. This is for my dads bike and currently has the pbr and bts installed but in just curious if it can be a little better just switching out some stuff with what i have laying around. He doesnt care about bass or fm. Just doing the 2 fairing speakers.
Thanks

Out of the two choices the 520.D with the Kappa's is going to sound the best. Need a more powerful amp with the 7.1's.

Ok thanks gann thats kinda what i was thinking but just to clarify the bt 7.1s are not even the regular non pro ones they are the value line and only rated at 70 watts..i cant seem to find them on their site because i wanted to paste a link so we were on the same page..i have the regular 7.1s in my bike and they say 100 watts rms 200 peak and i know his are different becasue they were only $149 and still had a lifetime warranty but they said they wouldnt cover them if u gave em too much power...by the way i just redialed in the gains on my pn4.1000d ,that replaced the 520d, after i got my flash and all i can say is wow

Yes Sir Nick I know a few guys with those speakers and they rock! Although they are rated at 70 rms they will take much more power than 70 watts. My rule of thumb for power to speakers is 2.1 x RMS. In other words with those speakers rated at 70 watts rms I would take 2.1 x 70 = 147 watts. Those speakers will sound best with an amp the generates 147 watts RMS. also gives you plenty of headroom. Using this rule the 520.D and the PBRX2 do not have enough power at 4 ohms to power those speakers effectively. Now some people will disagree and that's ok. But if you are into audio long enough you learn a few things along the way. Bottom line is "It's always better to have more power than less" Guys try to match the amp RMS with the speaker RMS and then wonder why their system doesn't sound good. I hear it everyday!!

All that said you never want to go OVER 2.1 or there's a possibility of damage to the speakers.
