Default PBR 300x2 wont power on

I installed a RF PBR 300x2 and it will not turn on when i turn my bike on. I have the power and ground wires ran to the battery and have spliced in all the wires. Any common problems for the amp not turning on?

No need for rem on the RF amp. It uses the voltage from the stereo/speaker to turn on. Has a setting **** on the side which I have set to 4 volts.

It is the stock head unit. I talked with a friend who is an electrical engineer and he said to never ground to the battery. Is this true even though the directions say to? Also, where else is a good grounding spot?

Your bud should talk to the electrical engineers at Fosgate that published a bulletin stating otherwise for Harley's.

Have u checked that power is getting to the amp? If so, then I would try a remote wire to see if the amp turns on, if it does then it could be your speaker high level input connections. If u have power, ground and remote and it doesn't turn on, something's up with the amp.

Had a PBR300, couldn't get it to work (stock 2014 HU), hooked up the REM wire after talking to the RF tech. Worked like a charm.

Hooking up the remote wire won't hurt it, try it and see.
