I think budda is running a RZ42000D....so it's a fixed HP.
Budda --- you can either run AP and lower your bass a bit on the radio, or run it HP, see how it sounds and adjust your EQ from there.
Me personally, if I was running the stock HU I would run it in HP and try to squeeze the most volume out of those speakers. The stock HU has some distortion and at loud volumes for a long period of time at AP you may damage your speakers or forced to play them lower than you'd like to compensate for the distortion.

Settings
I set it to HP. And it states on the AMP as suggested, it is fixed. Still set at 10 O'clock on front and rear gains. Night and day from just stock HU. I am disappointed I could not use more out of the gain settings. Sometime in the future I will invest in high quality speakers. I can tell the Kickers are very good especially for the price. I am going to leave it for a while see how it handles. I went for a ride, used Iphone and a few CD's. I can make it sound the way I want with the settings for fade, bass and treble. On most music I can not get above half on the HU. It is just too loud. Again thanks for all the help.

Funny
I am a tech is another field. Having seen what was needed to do made it a lot easier. But working on my stuff with what is invested is scary sometimes. The wrong OOPS! Can be very expensive.

Have a friend who heard my system. He wants me to help him build a system for 500.00. He has the boom upgrade on a 2012 Electra Glide limited. No Amp. I am already thinking of replacing my front speakers. They are not bad, but the Kickers I have in back are really nice. No distortion. Could not be happier.
