That JL amp is on my list of amps I want to check out. Would like to see how it stacks up to the Hertz HDP4 I'm currently running. Sweet set up man.

 

Let us know the sound comparison. That's a hell of a system you had in there with the 2180 and the 7.1's. I know the focal K series rocks but they don't have nearly the bass the 7.1's have. But you'll make up for it with the JL 8.8's. Just curious on this set up.

 

I know this is a huge biketronics crowd. 4-5 months ago I gutted my system for Biketronics. Since I have blown 2 sets. I had no lid speakers. And I thought the base out of the 7.1's was pathetic. Just not happy. I also think the pioneer flip out head unit sucked majorly.

I have the focals in several of my vehicles along with the HD Amp. It is insanely loud and unbelievably clean.

I think this setup is gonna work.
