Default Speaker Question

Money is tight but I want to upgrade my speakers. I know I will need an amp to get the full effect, but if I replace the speakers first, will it make a difference in the volume and sound quality? Basically, can I do the audio upgrades in steps?

Save your money until you can buy the amp and speakers together. Speakers without the amp will make your sound quality worse. You would have to go with two ohm speakers. Best bang for the buck in 2 ohm speakers are the infinity 62.11i's. Problem is the HU doesn't have nearly enough power to push them. The HU will perform best with the stock speakers.
