Late last winter I started to plan a system up grade. With the help of everyone on this forum especially Gannicus This is what I came up with.
A Kenwood media player KMM-BT312U (short chassis because of space issues) two sets of Kappa 52.11i and a Cerwin Vega B4 amp in the fairing. One set of Kappa 693.9i and a Cerwin Vega B2 in the bags (facing in). Everything is installed that goes in the fairing and I am just waiting for the spacers that I had to make for the bags to let the paint dry and I will have it all done in the next day or so.
talk about some gear ****! Man that looks pretty. I can tell you the Cerwin B2 pumps out some super clean power, and those 6X9's are in my bags right now and they hit hard and get as loud as any 6X9 out there.
Sweet set up man. That's going sound fantastic. Hope u get it installed soon.
Got it installed yesterday. Went for 200 mile ride today to test it out. It is great. If I could only figure out all the things the HU has to offer. Have many adjustments to do but over it is all good.
Try setting the HPF on the amp going to 5.25's around 60-80, and around 40-50 on the one going to your 6x9's. Radio try first your EQ flat, Drive EQ on, sound recon on and then adjust your EQ from there. My bud has the same radio and that's how its set up.
That part wasn't bad. just navigating around the HUs different functions is a pain to get used to.
The remote is your friend.... Lol glad to hear it all worked out for you brother. Don't tell anyone about those secret 6x9's LOL. Oh wait HAZE already knows. Best sounding 6x9's out there on a budget.

You were right as usual them 9x9's are the boom. I was actually thinking last night that a set sitting the shelf waiting for the next project would be a good thing (if I can find them).
Thanks again your knowledge and willingness to share is much appreciated.
