Default Help with RCA issue on sony dsx310

Equipment - sony dsx 310, biketronics 7.1'a & BT480 amp

Right speaker wasn't working when I left for work yesterday morning. Before I stopped to check anything it started playing again. Thought a connection may have came loose.

Worked fine on ride home, but when I got in garage to park bike right speaker stopped again.

Pulled fairing to inspect this morning. All connections were fine. Connected right speaker amp to left rca and bingo, music again. Not much to check on the rca run to the amp, looks good.

Connected to Rear out rca and music again, but still nothing from right, front out rca.

What could have happened?

Those speaker connections on the BT4180 do not have the best design from an engineering standpoint. My friend AAWAV wants to re-design em.. . .lol All jokes aside check the speaker connections and make sure they are as they should be. That's where I would start since it's only happening to the right speaker.

The amp I'm using is the BT480, not 4180.

Speaker connections are fine.

I guess at this point is there an issue running one speaker off "front" rca out, and one off a "rear" out? Same sound sent for both?

This seems to be an issue with the rca coming off the head unit, and can not just replace the rca. Disappointing as the HU has only been in the bike for a couple months.

Lol. . . Time to upgrade my glasses! It's karma man. Go get the BT4180.
