Not happy with my Biketronics 7.1's
I recently blew my Infiniti Kappa speakers. I decided to go with an upgraded version (Biketronics 7.1), since I had to get in those stupid pods and replace them anyway. I had the PBR 300x2 amp, magic box, and Infiniti speakers. I replaced my speakers with the Biketronics 7.1's with the bracket to get rid of the pods. I left my magic box and my amp installed. I have my amp gain set to around 8 and my Hz set to around 125Hz. IMO they just don't sound that great!! I don't even think they sound as loud or as good as my Infiniti's did. Is there anything I'm missing or doing wrong with my set up I have???
I have tried tweaking the amp and controls on my NAV system (bass & treble), but haven't had any luck getting them to sound good.

Do you happen to know of a good (small) 4 ohm 4 channel amp I can get? One that will fit in the fairing. I may put some 6x9's in the saddle bags in the future, and don't want to have to purchase another amp. I would rather save my saddle bag space and keep one amp for everything in the fairing.

Yeah Mike if you are not adverse to losing FM purchase the new Soundstream 1000D or the Power Acoustik 3000D which is the clone to the soundstream. They both fit in the fairing. You will notice a WORLD of difference when you purchase a new amp. Those speakers are good to go but they need more power than the X2 can provide @ 4 ohms.

Gann, does it fit in a 2014?
If not there's s few other choices, but a bit costlier. The new Soundstream is your best bang for your buck. If it doesn't fit, I may have an amp at the house for you.
And for sure do the 6X9. Che k out the Infinity 693.9i. Gann put me up to these and they keep up with my Hertz HCX 6X9.
