Default needing help on my system

I had a local audio shop install a Hogwired 400w Amp and 2 Hybrid Audio Tech speakers and I am jus not happy with it. I have updated to the new version of the HU but have not done anything with flashing to 8 speakers/2 amps. I have a 2014 SGS. I am getting new bags and lids and want to add 2 more speakers. How should i go about doing this? I thought of going to Biketronics and just ordering a 4 speaker system and the 4 channel amp from there and start fresh or should i just add another amp for the lid speakers? Thoughts anyone?

If it's the Hawg wired RS400 amp I'd sell it and go Biketronics. Not sure of the speakers you have there. But if it were me I'd start fresh as you suggested and give Bill at Biketronics a call. You'll be much happier with the Biketronics products. Stay away from the local audio shop.... Lol

Default focal speakers

Thank you and that is the way I am leaning. Are the focal Speakers better than the Biketronics?

The focal K2 series speakers are very nice speakers. They are also very expensive. Only the person listening can determine if they are "better" more factors involved here than sound. The Biketronics speakers are produced specifically for motorcycle usage meaning they are water resistant and have a lifetime warranty. On top of that they sound fantastic. If you weight all the pros and cons with both speakers.... The Biketronics speakers will win every time. I'm talking bang for the buck here. Durability, reliability and cost. Biketronics wins hands down.

I'm running Biketronics on my RG and if I had a chance to do it all over again, I'd go with Biketronics again, no questions asked. They have performed flawlessly...
