How do you like the 3000 compared to the ARC?

The Moto 600.4 is clean raw power and it's a little beast for it's size. No problem pushing any speaker out there. That said it does have it's limits before distortion kicks in. There in lies the difference. The PA 3000 does NOT distort!!! It's very loud and very clear at all volumes. Now we are talking a $200 amp vs. a $600 amp. I bought and paid for both. But I gotta be honest here. The PA 3000 IMO blows the Moto away! Either that or my tuning skills aren't what they used to be. . . LOL!! But I tuned the PA the same way I tune most of my amps using the good old tried and true Ultranutz method and the dam thing just simply outperforms the Moto. You would think it wouldn't be close considering the price difference. The Soundstream 1000D is the clone to the PA and it's equally as awesome.
I'm sure there are some guys who are going to disagree with me. But my friend HAZE has also installed both amps and I think he will pretty much tell you the same thing. But I don't want to put words in HAZE's mouth. I'll let him share his own opinion.
It's one of those things where you have to have both amps in hand install it, listen to it and then take it out and do the same thing with the second amp. HUGE difference IMO. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

Name a product....Gannicus as tried it!!!
Yep, I had both in my fairing for a few days, and man it's close between those to amps if you had to do a blind survey on them until you find out one cost 180.00 and the other cost 600.00. I really liked the Arc, it had a very clear crisp sound to it....you can quickly tell it's a quality top notch product. What it lacked a bit in sound was warmth. The PA is like unfiltered power. It doesn't have the same super crisp clarity to it, but it does have some serious power behind it and warmth that the Arc lacked. Ultimately I went back to the 4180 which I think is a combination of both. Not quite as loud, but has good warmth and great clarity. The PA and SS at 180.00 is awesome, if you're looking for that super crisp clarity found in higher end amps like JL, then go with the Arc if you have the cash.
In the case of the OP, the Arc was the only option to fit two amps there! That thing must sound excellent with all Arc and all Hybrid Audio speakers.
