Wanting new Speakers in the fairing
I'm doing this all on a decently strict budget so I cant spend a tone of cash.
I'm wondering if I could get speakers for now, then eventually add an amp? Also, when you guys are getting speakers are you getting marine speakers? or just regular car speakers? I've seen some talking about Infiniti Kappas, I know JL audio has had good speakers (from my younger days of doing car audio). What would you recommend?
For now I'll be using the stock HK deck also.

Here's what I have.. Kappas, Rockford amp, Kenwood HU. Just got the head unit and it makes a huge difference.. I highly suggest selling ur stock radio which will fund everything u need for a head unit.. Well worth it. It seems as if the Rockford amp is slowly being replaced by the cerwin if I'm not mistaken.. The kappas are solid speakers and have help up very well in my set up.. All total I'm in it 400 even. Amp,speakers, rings, radio, and necessary wiring. If u want top notch go with biketronics, you will spend more but it's all you will ever need

Damn internet on my phone has me double posting!!
+1 on Decen's recommendation. The Kappa's get VERY loud and the Cerwin B2 I find has better SQ than the Fosgate, also pumps out 250w at 2ohms. Only catch is you may lose some FM reception with a Class D amp. Combine those with a decent head unit and that will be plenty loud for a few hundred bucks.
