You can do it in parts, but honestly without an amp the speakers will sound better in your garage, but it won't be a difference once you hit the road. At a minimum I'd do the speakers and amp together.

Alright, I'll put some more money together and do the amp and the speakers together.

Any good Blue tooth options that you know of with out spending a ton of money on a deck or something?

I got my HU for 109 I think. Has Bluetooth, xm ready, Pandora ready.. 6 pre amp outputs I believe.. It's not top of the line but I think the only difference from mine and the 9 series is the extra sound settings..

I used this Bluetooth adapter from Bestbuy with my stock HU and it did a really good job. Ditched that setup for a Sony HU. If you can spare the coin, an aftermarket HU is a worthy upgrade as well.

Eventually I want to, but after dropping a good bit of money on a stage one, I should probably relax on bike upgrades haha.

I assume that bluetooth just plugs into the aux slot on the front of the hk?

I have that exact BT receiver with Rockford Fosgate pbr 300x2 and Infinity Kappas and stock HK unit. It's a low budget setup and I'm loving it. Sounds great, in fact the g/f asked me to turn it down while we were cruising down the highway at 75mph. pretty sure I did'nt have it past the 'l" in Volume.
