Outside. I never opened the pods. The sound was good. If I didnt have a buddy with the focals, I would prob still have them.

Got the amp yesterday. Hoping to get the rest of the stuff this week so I can install over the weekend.

Bike: 2014 Street Glide (BoomBox 4.3 non GPS)

Infinity Kappa 62.11 6.5" Speakers: Ebay.com (autosoundz4less) - 108.99 shipped
Rockford Fosgate PBR 300x2: Amazon.com - 149.98
Harley Amplifier Wiring Kit for RF PBR300x: Amazon.com - 31.98
2014+ Batwing Mount for RF PBR300x: Amazon.com - 31.98
Speaker Grill for 2014+ 6 1/2" Speaker: CycleSounds.com - 53.76 (includes $12 shipping)
Audio Front Speaker Adapter kit for 2014+ Harley: Vtwinaudio.com - 51.95 (includes
$12 shipping)

So, total I am in just under $430 for the complete installation. I'll post up some pics of the install in a new thread once I get all the parts delivered. Based on what I have read, this will be a fairly simple install. I need to research where to set the gains on a non-flashed HU and possibly schedule a appointment with my local dealer.

Hope this helps anyone looking to do the same install. This should be pretty much a plug and play install with the exception of cutting the connectors off the wires in the pod. The rest is just taking the fairing/pods and tank off. I figure this will be a few hours making sure to take my time and drink beer AFTER the install.
Any chance on getting part numbers for:

Harley Amplifier Wiring Kit for RF PBR300x: Amazon.com - 31.98
2014+ Batwing Mount for RF PBR300x: Amazon.com - 31.98
Speaker Grill for 2014+ 6 1/2" Speaker: CycleSounds.com - 53.76 (includes $12 shipping)
Audio Front Speaker Adapter kit for 2014+ Harley: Vtwinaudio.com - 51.95 (includes includes $12 shipping)

Hey man, think you could take plenty of pics and do a write up for us? I'm getting the exact set up as you and I know myself would love to see and read a write up on the install, so I'm sure it'd be helpful for others as well.

I'll give it my best shot. Not sure I will get everything covered but will at least have a few shots.

On the grills, I don't know if they are going to work. Just holding them up to the speaker they do not sit on the frame without hitting the tweeter. Their website specifically states that these grills accommodate tweeters that stick out further than stock. I don't know if the speaker actually fits flush with the faring and grill, if so then this won't work unless the grills are bent outward a little. I guess I will see when I install. I am about to do a search on these things and see if I can get more info.

That'd be awesome if you could do something for us newbies lol. As for the speaker grills, I can't find the thread now but I had read to call vtwin audio and ask for the deeper grills for the kappas. Not sure if those are the ones you have already or not.
