My wife rides a 2014 Street Glide Special and we added the CB module and PTT button and a HD communication cable and a J&M in fairing CB antennae. When we are close to one another it works great but if we get more than 1/4 of a block away the reception on both units is bad. I ride a 2012 Limited with the factory CB and have no other problems. Any help or ideas are appreciated. Thanks

 

I can't imagine that ANY inside the fairing CB antenna would work well to be honest. The CB antennas don't seem to work well even when you have a full sized one externally.
