Sony MEX-GS810BH or DSX-S310BTX? Install Kit and Handlebar Controll Kit?
Well, I should have started with a head unit on my 2009 FLHX. I recently installed Power Acoustic RZD-2000D, Kappa 62.11i in the fairing and Polk Audio MM691 in the saddle bag lids. I am sick of making C/D's. I have all my songs (Rock and Metal) on my Android Phone and on a small ipod. Id like to use my phone with blue tooth or NFC. I also like the idea of putting my ipod in the radio for safe keeping and charging. A friend also gave me 64GB of music on a USB drive that Id like to plug in the front of the radio. So I'm torn between the two Sony units and would like input from experience. I have searched for answers for weeks now and am more confused than before. I also want to retain the handle bar controls. I need recommendations on HU, Install kit BT1005 or ? The handle bar controls Metra Axxes ASWC-1 or ? Thanks to all for the valuable information!

I just bought and installed the mex-gs810bh, with a sound stream stealth amp and kicker speakers, and am very pleased. I especially like the Bluetooth feature. I use JANGO music app ( like Pandora) no commercials and it is killer. the usb out the back of radio keeps my phone charged. I get constant uninterrupted music from my selected genre from bands I know and some I never heard of.
