I would wait to replace your HU until you hear your new setup with the BT2180 and 7.1's. I noticed when I replaced my amp and speakers (keeping the stock HU) I was able to get more volume without distortion than before the changeout. I use the CB so changing out the stock HU is not a good option for me.
