Default Soundstream PN4.520D install

I am installing a Soundstream PN4.520D with the original head unit on a friends 2010 Street Glide. The instructions call for remote wire (antenna pwr output) from the head unit to be connected to the amp. Is there such a cable on the Harley head unit or will I have to use something else.

Thanks

use the orange wire on your headlight plug. It should have a female connector on it.

Here's a thought and this didn't dawn on me till I installed an aftermarket HU. If you have any type of stereo related malfunction and need the power turned off to your amp the only way to do it is turn the bike off. I'd try to find a way to put a switch on your power wire to turn it off if need be (like in a hard downpour). I still used the Orange wire with the new HU till it dawned on me I couldn't cut it off if need be. Now use the remote turn on from the aftermarket HU. Again this is just a thought.

Bates. you could also pull the fuse for amp. my corbin seat actually has a key lock on it and comes off in seconds. just saying , pull fuse if possible

After installing my aftermarket HU I used the radios remote turn on wire so now if the HU unit is off, so are the amps.
