Default Handle Bar Controls Not working

Hey guys,
I'm in the midst of installing a New system (Sony HU, RF Amp, Infiniti Speakers in fairing and lowers) in my 08 EGC
I have the Biketronics BT1005x module.
I am using the RCA outs fromt the HU to the RCA ins on the Amp.
Do I still nee to wire the speaker output wires from the HU harness to the inputs on the BT Module?

I have hooked up the Red, Black and Yellow wires from the harness to the module, but figured the others (mostly speaker outputs) would not be needed, since I am using the RCA connections.

The way I have it now, the Handle Bar controls DO NOT work.
All else is working fine.
What am I doing wrong?

Also note, it's a 4 channel amp and I have wired the fairing to the fronts and the lowers to the rears, so that the Fader can be used.

Have you hooked the 35 pin plug into the module? Have you adjusted the preset selector to Zero. You also need to hook up either the blue/yellow wire from the Sony HU or if it comes with a 3.5 plug into the module

Not trying to be funny but follow those biketronics module directions to the tee.
I remember having an issue but when I reread the instructions I saw I did something "my way" and had an issue. I regrouped and followed those instruction to the letter and all was working.

Thanks for the reply.
Turns out the 35 pin connector was not firmly seated.
Once I unplugged and replugged it properly, all is well.
This was driving me a little further over the edge than I normally am.
K.I.S.S. applies here, as is often the case.
