I have the RF 300x4 and I keep blowing speakers. I have used (Focal 165 CA1)
and (Kicker CSS 65) both are supposed to be able to handle 75w RMS each. I don't want to use component speakers because I don't really know where to put the extra tweeters. I am thinking using the (Rockford Fosgate PPPS4 6.5) speakers to go with my amp. I know they are not Marine Rated but does anyone have any info on this set up? Has anyone used the speakers on a bike yet?
Any kicker cs series blow, they sell that crap at wal mart. Go with something with a bridge mounted tweeter, not a coaxial like the polks or kappas. Rockford makes a great set in their t series (the power), sound is amazing.

The Kicker CS series and KS series are great little speakers on a budget and they only blow if they are operating at high distortion levels.

Ha ha ha!!! Dude no ones going to buy them with that sales pitch!
You can only use 4 ohm speakers with the PBR300X4 So the infinity's will not work as they are 2 ohm speakers. I would use the kickers up front as well. The Alpines need more power than the X4 can provide to sound good.

I'll put my BT/HAT coaxials up against your RF t series any day of the week.
Power doesn't kill speakers, at least not in these applications - distortion does.
