Default Parts list for amp install?

I got kicker speakers and the power acoustik razor amp to connect to the HD head unit on my 07 street glide. I know I can order the 8 gauge amp install wiring kit online. There is an auto audio shop a few miles from my house. Their 8 gauge kit is 59.00. The guy said If I give him a list of what I need he could do better if I only purchased the materials that I need. Can someone give me a list of parts that I would need to make connect my amp and speakers?
Thanks,
Brian

You can get just about everything you need at Lowes, Home Depot, Menards, Auto Zone, Napa, O'Rielly's, etc...

You need a roll of 10 ga. stranded copper wire, NOT aluminum with copper clad coating, An inline fuse holder, some ring terminals to connect to the battery, A roll of 16 ga. speaker wire, a soldering iron, solder, heat shrink tubing, a lighter to shrink the tube, spade terminals if your speakers have those, you may need some 14ga. wire for a remote turn on for the amp if it doesn't have high level input sensing or if you are using RCA's. zip ties, maybe some wire loom material... In all maybe $25 and you can wire a few bikes.

Thanks for the information. Do I need RCA Cables and What do I use to connect radio to amp?

Thanks,
Brian

No RCA cables needed. You speaker wires that are connected to the stock speakers will be the hi-level input for the amp. That make sense?

2010 Limited with some stuff
