ASWC-1 or Hawg Wired HUA360?
Other than one being about $70 cheaper, is there any benefit to one over the other? easier install, size, reliability etc?
Am picking up an aftermarket HU this week and the metra 99-9600 kit and was wondering which way to go on the HB controls.
Also, is there a splash guard that can quickly attach should it start to rain? I was looking at the biketronics splashguard for $20 but was wondering about fitment?
Again...thanks.

Thanks Gannicus. The Hawg wired looks like an easy install and setup. I really just want the splash guard to throw on when it rains. The rest of the time it will be in a saddlebag so clouding etc won't bother me. It just snaps on right?
It was your post in another thread that got me looking at the Hawg wired kit.

The Hawg Wired controller is a nice unit comparable with Biketronics except for AVC. If you're also getting the Hawg Wired radio install kit it has nicer looking metal faceplate IMO. However I don't think the Biketronics $20 splash cover will fit a HW faceplate. Maybe someone can chime in to confirm. I beleive there is splash cover for HW but it's much more expensive. You could always buy the Biketronics radio install kit and use the HW controller though and the BT splash cover will work for sure.

Yes Sir! Just snaps in. One note: If you have the chrome Harley radio trim piece that circles around the air and oil gauges (On an ultra) Don't think there is anything there on an SG. Anyway, biketronics makes a rain cover to fit with the chrome piece and one without the chrome piece. There is a box to check on the site if you have the HD chrome radio trim.
