Install pics of JL audio m650 in street glide fairing
I have the JL audio m650 speaker as well as the JL audio 5 1/4 to 6 1/2 adapters. Is there modification required to install? The grill is not removable so how are these being mounted? Please post pics and info. Thanks
JL audio has the m650-ccx-sg which has the narrow flange as well as the 5 1/4 to 6.5 adapters. This is a package that voodoo bike works sells and claims..
"yes the speakers with the adapters are direct replacement of your stock set up.
Its a simple bolt in process"

Anything is possible and just because I have not seen it doesn't mean it can't be done. That said. I have yet to see those specific speakers in a fairing. I remember a couple years back when we were all buying the POLK MM651 speakers. Some guys would ultimately go out and buy the marine rated speakers with the fixed grills only to find out they will not fit in the fairing. Again, If the grills are fixed they will NOT fit. I suggest you call Voodoo for confirmation. I could be wrong.
Gotta give the man credit T! He made em fit. I was skeptical and didn't think they would fit but he proved me wrong. Great job on the install my friend! Anything is possible!
