I am going to be helping a buddy install Infinity Kappa 62.11i's on his 2013 Ultra Limited. He currently has J&M's in the batwing which we will be removing. I told him to find his stock grills as we will need to reinstall them. But now I am wondering if the stock grills will work with the Kappas. Will they work or does he need to get some aftermarket/boom grills? I am thinking that with the adapters there should be plenty of room but just want to be sure. Thanks!

 

yes the stock grills work perfectly fine, its the same opening which is covered. Only difference is larger speaker adapters which doesn't effect the opening.

Upgrade to a new speaker grill, take old mesh trash cash and cut out the size you need and spray paint it for a custom look.

 

That's a damn good idea.. The stockers worked for me but I might have a new weekend mod to consider lol
