BT 4180 vs Arc Moto 600.4
#12
When I spoke with Bill @ Biketronics before ordering my 4180 I asked him about my speaker setup. BT 7.1's in Front and Infinity Kappa's in the rear pods. I asked him if there was any problem with running 4ohm in front and 2ohm in the rear and he said there was essentially 4 separate amps in the 4180? So basically each speaker could get the full output of the AMP? And there was no problem mixing the 2 separate sets of speakers since again each would have its own amp. Not sure if other amps are like that.. I know very little about audio stuff.
I'm going to wait until I send my HU in to Iron Cross to get the pre-amp outputs installed before I put the 4180 in though. Don't want to tear everything apart until I am ready to do everything.

Yes Sir. This is a older thread but yeah the Moto 600.4 is a great amp! But the BT4180 is comparable to the Moto 600.4 as well. The only reason I liked the Moto better is the fact that it had gain controls. Both amps are High end amps with excellent power and clarity! If you don't like fooling with gain controls the BT4180 is the ticket. If you are old school like me and like to tune down to a gnats *** you want the Moto 600.4
