All, I just ordered a Woody's fairing for my bike. They are exceptionally well made but space inside is at a premium. I am now shopping for a compact, din sized head unit (I don't need CD) and a small amp to power four 5.25" speakers. I am leaning towards one of the Sony Digital Media set ups and the Alpine power pack with the Polk 5.25s. I would love to keep my Soundstream PN.540 amp but I don't see anyway I will get it to fit in the fairing unless someone out there has an ideas...So, fire away. Cost IS a factor here so I want the most bang for the buck saving the most room. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

as small as the Alpine cost less and more power.
Find it on amazon They are both the same amp just that the power acoustic is a soundstream clone.

Thanks! If that Soundstream is truly the same size as the Alpine, I think you found what I need. I like Soundstream stuff too...

 

It is 3" wide x 1.5" high x 6.5" long

 

The Apine power pack amp is 2.562"wide x 1.5" high x 7.875 long.

 

Looks like the soundstream is the better option...now on to head units and such...

 

Take a look at the Kenwood KDC X798 it has bluetooth and 2 usb ports one in front and one in back it runs around $160.00 to $200.00 Sony alsp makes some good HU for around the same price.
