Amp Power on wire? Anyone know?
HI,
I have searched the forums with no luck. I installed a JVC aftermarket stereo removing the HD-76160-06 Stock Radio. Have everything working but the power on for the AMP, (HD P/N 76192-06B) is amp HD Part Number. Does anyone know which wire is power on that connects to my JVC White/Blue wire? I cannot find a decent diagram for this amp anywhere to tell me. Amp is a Harman Kardon amp made for Harley Boom Kit. I just need this one wire but the heck if I can figure out which one it is. 2013 Road Glide Custom.
Thanks Everyone

looks from teh install instructions that black is ground and red is hot- but that appears to be connected at the battery.
I'll see if I can figure out the remote power on ( relay) wire...looks like the yel/orn or the yel/violet
update: looking at the 09 wiring diagram...the
yel/orn is canbus +
yel/violet is canbus -
that is what the amp expects to see to "turn on".. I have no idea what form the canbus signal takes...ac or dc voltage...steady or not
you may do better buying a car audio store amp which is "basic" and not custom configured to work with the HD/ HK stereo head unit
