Help! Anybody installed a Cerwin Vega B2
The input side makes no sense, it contradicts itself. The wire color coding says as follows..
L+ = White
L- = White/Black
R+ = Gray
R- = Grey/Black
The input plug receptacle on the amp is labeled as seen below
Now to further confuse the issue. The four wire/pin plug for the inputs is configured as follows starting with the upper left wire..
R+ R-
L+ L-
I'm running the stock HU so I'll need to clip off the RCA plugs and wire directly to the outputs. Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still running the stock HU so I was going to clip off the RCA plugs and wire directly into the radio's speaker outputs just like I had done on my 300X2 amp. Unfortunately there is no combination that matches up to whats printed on the amp. Which, from the way I'm reading the markings, is showing 4 negative feeds. And if you look closely at the pic of the RCA plug you can see it has the two Grey(right channel) wires on top and the Whites are both on the bottom. While the amp shows the Rights entering the amp on the left ports and the Lefts on the right. So their plug, even if I was using RCAs, wouldn't match the plug.

Update. Just got off the phone with SonicElectronix support and they were sort of helpful. He confirmed that it doesn't really make sense and made two suggestions. Call Cerwin Vega and/or pickup an output converter. Of course CV support isn't open on weekends so it looks like I'll be picking up a converter and going at it from that direction. I'll post additional updates as I go.

Correct! And there in lies the confusion. But the guy at Sonic made a decent point. If you go with the output converter and don't alter the input harness and something is wired wrong in there then it's on them. Don't know if I'd hang my hat on that but we'll see.
