2015 FLHTK radio flash?
I was at my dealer last week asking to get the HU flashed for no amps and 8 speakers much like other have done and showed them the Rockford Fosgate advisory.
The service writer and tech told me it could not be done without an amp installed. They showed me a screen on the Digital Tech that showed no amps installed and all other tabs on the screen where grayed out. I told them I know there are no amps installed and I was talking about the amps within the HU. They told me I had to install an amp before they could access the HU.
So my question is, does anyone have a screen shot of the DT screen or information I can show them to get them on the right track to getting the HU flashed?

I was told the same so I went ahead and installed the ARC KS125.4 and two pairs of Infinity 62.11i speakers. When I returned for the flash, my head unit was already at amp 1 and 2 no, 4 speakers.
I am by no means an expert, but they let me go back and play a bit. On my bike without touching the amp it was clearly much louder in the amp off settings than it was in the amp on setting. In the amp off setting I had very little adjustment in volume before extreme distortion. In the amp on setting I could get to about 75% without extreme distortion. Both settings turned on the ARC amp with auto on sensing.
I probably screwed up, but I left it in amp1 and amp2 yes. I just finished tuning the amp after getting back home and I am pretty happy. I did set both front and rear to HP and adjusted the front to about 90Hz and the rear to about 110 Hz. The setup with the ports to the tour pack really pumps up the bass. Too much for me in fact
I am able to get the gains up around 50 to 60% now. In the amps no settings I could not turn the gains up at all without distortion at mid volumes.
Like I said, I probably screwed up, but it sounds pretty ok right now.
