Default Speakers that fit the 14-15 lids?

Has anyone installed any other speakers that'll fit the 14 lids?

Now I have to admit . . JM Johns speakers don't sound bad at all in that location. I have a friend who has those speakers. That said the best 5x7 I've heard on a bike are the JL C5-570X speakers.

+1 on the Crutchfields - buddy has them in his lids and I like them. If I was going to do lids that's the way I'd go.

I wonder if anyone's tried the Hybrid Audio Technologies Imagine I57-2 speakers in the new lids yet? There's a thread on the CVO forums where user TIF2 installed them in his '11 CVO lids and praised them, but never saw much in the line of follow-up. That thread dies off in April 2013. Google brings up some other threads not only here on HDForums but also on the CVO and RG forums, but no information about the new Rushmore lids as most of the threads relating to the "HAT CVO lid replacement speakers" are dated in 2013.

Those speakers are NICE! Just never understood why anyone would go with a 5x7 in the lids? Now two 5x7's in each lid makes sense!
