2014 rear speaker upgrade

Not sure if the speaker holes line up with the pods on the 5.25 speakers. I think you would be better off going with the 6.5 speakers and adding a spacer if necessary. I've installed several 6.5 infinity speakers in the rear pods without a spacer. But for whatever reason some bikes require a spacer. . . weird. All my installs were the 06 to 13 Ultra's. I do know once you get them in they sound awesome back there!

For a 2014 FLHTK, how do you add an amp to the rear speakers without losing the volume control. Is it as simple as unplugging the existing speaker wire, attaching an RCA kit and routing them to the amp input and getting it flashed? I already have a Biketronics setup in the front with a magic box, so Im somewhat familiar with the process. I thought I read that I would lose me backseat control.
