trying to get a look at the side of your bt speaker pods. i have the chopped tourpak and trying to see if it will look like **** or not to add them...looks like it fits top to bottom on the face.....speaker pod might be to big

all the pods from way back when (maybe back to 1998 or so) use 5.25" standard. Doesn't mean you can't fit others in them though as has been proven time and time again, even on the 14s

 

wait what??? this is the first time I have thought about adding the speakers to the tour pack so i not familiar with the stock pods are you saying I can (with some work) might be able to get a 7.1 into the older pods? or are you thinking the 7.1 pods are same fitment on the tour pack? I was measuring the tour pack where the pod mounts and it is 5 and 1\2 tall and 5 and 1\2 wide and chance you can measure the pod and see how tall it is....I really appreciate the help might save me a ton money in the end

half way down on right side of page you will see the chopped speaker pods I just wounder the diffrence in mounting height if any?

 

no way you'll get 7.1" in there on the chopped or the stock. i have no way to measure the mounting surface without taking the pods off.
