Course you could always use a PBR300x2 and turn the gains down and then later on if you decide to change speakers, you have plenty of amp to do it with.
Good call Nutz . . . I forgot about that amp! I've had guys insist on amping the booms and ultimately they come back to me with a sob story about the booms blowing up. So I just stopped doing boom installs. Waste of time and money. I know for dam sure that X2 will kill em fast even with the gains low. Guys try and turn their stereo's up too loud and KABOOM!! Never fails. . .lol. But yes I agree that amp would be good.

Ok I think I am going to go with you guy's on this one, so I will need the Rockford PBR300x2 amp and the Infinity 62.11 speakers. Where can I get this cable or wire and the speaker adaptors you mentioned? Do I need anything else? Oh and AAWAV I would take you up on the Boom offer if you would come install this new set up.LOL.

you need
6' of Red 10ga power wire
6' of black ground wire
a fuse holder to install on the power wire at the battery with a 25A fuse
you'll likely need about 5' of 16ga speaker wire
the adapter rings can be had on amazon or if you want the best ones out there, Arc Audio.
http://www.arcaudio.com/p/6-5-adapter-rings

the battery and ground wire and fuse/fuse holder you can pick up at autozone

What are you going to do with the BOOMS AAWAV? Test em to see at what point they blow up? LOL. . . Hell, I can't find the RMS on those speakers anywhere. Be nice to know. You dam sure don't want to hook em to the PA. Anyway if you buy the KABOOMS I'll take those Polks off your hands. LMAO!
