Default Antenna wire removal

I have an 05 Classic that I've added a tour pack detatch kit to. The antenna was originally attached to the tp, but the detatch kit included a bracket to mount the connection. I want to remove the antenna wire and bracket. The wire runs inside a sheath that also contains a lighting harness, but I only want the antenna lead removed and don't want to remove the sheath. Is there a way to get the connector off the wire so I can get it out of the sheath and coil it up under the seat, or should I just cut it? I have an in fairing antenna now, but my class D amp kills radio reception anyway.

John the sheath should expand a bit to be able to slide the antenna wire through. The use of WD-40 sprayed into the end of the sheath should aid in the removal of the wire from the sheath without damaging either. This is making the assumption that the antenna wire on an 05 is the same as on newer bikes with the standard antenna connector that plugs in inside the tourpak.
